Ingredients of Veg Biryani
- Prepare 1 cup of rice.
- Prepare 4 tbsp of oil.
- It's 3 1/2 bowl of water.
- Prepare pinch of turmeric powder.
- Prepare To taste of red chilli powder.
- It's 3/4 tbsp of shahi Biryani masala.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of matar(green peas).
- You need 1 of carrot chopped.
- It's handful of beans chopped.
- You need 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (paneer).
- You need 1/4 of chopped capsicum (optional).
- It's 1 of small chopped potato.
- Prepare 2 of chopped green chillies.
- You need 2 of crushed garlic cloves.
- Prepare 1 of onion cut into slices.
- It's 1 of grinded tomato.
- Prepare Pinch of orange colour.
Veg Biryani instructions
- In a pan, add oil, onion.
- When onion becomes pink, add garlic and green chillies, bayleaf mix well.
- Add tomato, veggies (carrots,potatoes,beans,matar).
- Add salt, turmeric, Biryani masala, red chilli powder, colour mix well.
- Add little water. Cover the pan with lid and let it cook for 5-7 mins.
- Add soaked rice and remaining water in it.
- Let it cook.
- When it's almost ready, add pieces of paneer to it and mix gently..
- Serve hot..
