  7. Layering and final cooking of the dum biryani: Over the remaining vegetables in the pan, layer half of the cooked rice evenly. Sprinkle half of the fried onions, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Spoon about 1 to 2 tablespoons of ghee on top.
